ACE MOTO Cafe Motorcycle Rallye

A Unique American Cafe Rallye, one Food Truck at a Time

Rallye Launch Announced Wednesday, October 22

This event has already passed by. Sorry.

Event Description

“I wanted to send y'all a quick note and let you know how much fun my son (Alex) and I had spending the day with the Rallye team and the competitors and the sponsors. It was one of my best days with my son and we both agreed that all of the people we met were awesome and we are humbled to know all of you and them.

I am an avid motorsports guy, loving to drive cars, ride motorcycles and fly planes. I have participated in many events over the years that were bigger and fancier, but none of them brought more fun than we had this past Saturday! I would like to thank the team that provided the leadership and crew for your hard work and passion for getting this event done and in fine fashion.”

Randy, Rallye Competitor, May 2014

This motorcycle rallye takes you back to London of the '50s and '60s, when Americans were celebrating grease and muscle and the Brits were celebrating punk rock and motorcycles. This is a mash-up of London's legendary cafe racer culture with the modern-day quirkiness of Austin. Instead of rallying from cafe to cafe, you'll rallye from food truck to food truck. Never done a rallye or organized motorcycle competition before? No problem - this is perfect for you.

Length
: 50 - 80 miles

Geographical Region: Central Austin

Launch Venue Announcement: Wednesday, October 22

Important Times:

9:00am ACE MOTO Registration & Launch Party

9:30am Mandatory Team Meeting

9:55am Ceremony of the Matches

10:10am Matched Shotgun Launch

5:00pm ACE MOTO Happy Hour

6:00pm Awards Ceremony of the Food Trucks

Requirements: Rookie, Novice to Pro, Motorcycle, Current License, Proof of Insurance, Signed Waiver

Recommendations: Pocket Map, Accessible Watch, Charged Phone

Challenges & Special Notes: This amazing motorcycle competition will pit you against other cyclists - using your wit and not your speed. You'll compete on open public roads, and have the ability to create a strategy at each checkpoint throughout the day.  You'll learn about "Reverse Variance Scoring," food truck tasting and voting on your favorites. Don't worry about being an expert here - there will be NO experienced Reverse Variance TSD rallyists at this event. (Primarily because we're the creator of Reverse Variance Timing.)

You'll show up because you've always wanted an organized event for your riding pleasure. And you'll meet some great people. And we keep you busy and strategizing all day long. You'll come back again and again because of the zaniness, the ridiculous awards, and the smile you couldn't wipe from your ridiculous face.
